Job description

• Perform detailed financial and operational KPI analysis, including executing month/year-end reporting within the Corporate Controlling team, performing plan versus actual analyses, and deriving action recommendations to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Offer support in all cost accounting matters through regular training, workshops, one-on-one exchanges, and site visits to ensure consistency and quality in reporting
• Support factory management and controllers in conducting thorough analyses and developing countermeasures or continuous improvement plans to address operational challenges
• Coordinate planning efforts by assisting plants in preparing operational budgets and forecasts, and in analyzing planning data to facilitate informed decision-making
• Provide expertise in the calculation of product standard costs, aiding in the accurate assessment of product profitability
• Be willing to offer temporary on-site controlling support to plants, addressing specific controlling issues directly and providing hands-on assistance when necessary
• Design and develop operational dashboards and reports using tools like BW (Business Warehouse) and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) to provide actionable insights and enhance data-driven decision-making
• Lead initiatives aimed at standardizing and harmonizing controlling processes across the group, as well as optimizing IT systems, with a particular focus on contributing to SAP S/4 HANA post-implementation projects

Employer's requirements

• Higher education (university) with a focus on finance/controlling • At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally as a plant controller of a producing company • Experience in accounting is an advantage • Advanced English language ability, both written and spoken is a must, German is an advantage • Experience with SAP BW / Analysis for Office and SAP R3 (or S4 HANA) FI/CO modules is a must, a solid understanding of SAP MM and PP is a plus • Proactive, analytical, and hands-on professional with strong leadership skills
