Job description
• Design and develop the power electronics hardware of power chargers (off-board & on-board) for lithium-ion batteries and lead acid batteries
• Develop and test the electronics hardware, including circuit diagram and PCB design, PCB layout and commissioning
• Provide technical support for our electronic component portfolio (power modules, master PCBs, …)
• Initiate changes to components and circuit parts both in series production and in new development projects in close coordination with management and our component suppliers
• Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical and firmware engineers to develop power electronics as well as energy systems combined with batteries, grid connection as well as load management systems
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in electrical engineering and apply them to new and existing designs
Employer's requirements
• At least 4+ years of professional experience in the field of hardware development of electronic components
• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering
• Experience with circuit diagram development tools and Spice simulation such as Altium Designer and LT Spice
• Strong analytical skills and structured way of working
• You bring excellent communication skills and teamwork skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English. German is a plus.
