Medical Scientific Manager (f/m)

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Sobi hematology and immunology medical affairs plan and implementation
• Through scientific exchange, build and maintain professional relationships with clinical experts and other external stakeholders to expand Sobi’s research, advisory and educational partnerships
• Drive “peer-to-peer” scientific communication with Key Opinion Leaders in healthcare, academia, payer, and government organizations
• Present clinical and disease-related information to a variety of audiences (KOLs, HCPs, hospital/decision making teams, internal colleagues, partners etc.)
• Support data dissemination at congresses/seminars/workshops according to medical affairs plans
• Provide scientific input and participate in local medical and cross-functional initiatives
• Provide field-based medical support to Sobi’s clinical research programs, registries, and facilitation of the investigator-initiated research process
• Develop/increase knowledge of medical literature and critical appraisal of scientific publications
• Develop and update knowledge of applicable pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations, Code of Ethical Practices and company policies
• Generate customer insights, opinions and feedback for internal assessment

Their ideal candidate:

• Master’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, or biology subjects
• Preferred experience in hematology and/or immunology
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in scientific roles (Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor or Medical Manager)
• Self-driven personality with ability to operate out of home office
• Effective communication and team working skills
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite, web environment)
• B category driving license
• Flexibility, ability to manage change and operate in an environment of uncertainty
• Customer relationship management experience
• Ability to travel nationally to visit customers approx. 60% of the time, occasional international travel
• Excellent knowledge of English
