For our client, an international FMCG, we are looking for a highly motivated, professional and proactive:

 
Area Sales Manager (m/f) – Rijeka


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•    Leading strategic selling process by aligning, selling and executing business objectives with customers through the team
•    Setting sales targets for whole team, aligning with company and channeling strategies while ensuring timely delivery
•    Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
•    Collecting customer feedback
•    Performing sales analysis 
•    Recommending resource allocation to key accounts in the area, in conjunction with the marketing team and channel specialists
•    Following all the commercial policies, campaigns and incentives
•    Building major customer relations based on high professional standards
•    Ensuring understanding of the deal with customers and internally, in terms of commitments, resources needed and timelines
•    Managing the budget for delivering outlet presence standards 
•    Ensuring trade contracts compliance
•    Organizing market visits on a national level in both On/Off trade accounts in coordination with Brand Managers and Trade Marketing Team
•    Managing, developing, coaching and motivating the team by providing them with challenging individual targets and KPIs 
•    Effectively assessing sales team, based on the performance management process
•    Actively participating in recruiting, coaching and training of all team members
•    Managing incentives for direct reports and providing input for target setting and compensation decisions


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

•    University diploma
•    Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG or consumer goods industry, preferably beverages
•    Experience in managing teams 
•    Great commercial understanding of the On Trade environment is an advantage
•    Fluency in English 
•    MS Office knowledge
